• Appointments are virtually based for convenience but are 1:1 with Dr. Michelle. A visit with me is likely to be very different than the type of care you have received in the conventional medical model, mainly due to my approach to health (natural and holistic), detail and depth taken with your health concerns, and specialty & advanced laboratory options.

Wellness consultations vary in length of time depending on service options and whether a wellness membership is desired. Visit type, length of time, and cost of appointments is viewable from my booking page ("Schedule Online tab").

Intake forms are thoughtfully designed to allow for a holistic understanding of your concerns and are reviewed prior to your appointment. This allows us to spend optimal time on your specific concerns during our visit!

At the time of booking, clients will receive a confirmation email and a link to our scheduled appointment time through Zoom. My cancellation policy is provided at the time of booking and requires an electronic signature. Intake forms and an informed consent to engage in virtual consultations are also sent once your appointment is confirmed.

All appointments are based on Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

  • New client consultations are 30 or 45 minutes (depending on complexity) and follow-up wellness consultations are 20 minutes. Lab follow-up appointments are 25 minutes as more time is generally needed to review labs. There are times where longer follow-ups may be required and will be discussed prior to scheduling, if needed.

All consultations can be scheduled directly from the website and are carried out via ZOOM virtual internet video conference.

I review intake forms as they are completed. If your time frame is not adequate to cover all of your concerns in one visit, I will graciously notify you beforehand and we will modify your visit accordingly. This is to allow the appropriate time deserved to meet your needs and expectations. Thank you for your understanding as each case is unique!

  • All pricing is viewable on my booking page.

Membership services cost is $79 for 20 minute wellness consultations and requires a 3 month commitment to start. You must be an established client first before entering in a membership (i.e you have already had an initial 30 or 45 minute appointment with me).

Non-membership services are $150 for a 30 minute new client wellness consultation or $225 for a 45 minute new client wellness consultation. Non-membership follow-ups are $100 for 20 minutes. Lab consultations are $125 for a 25 minute appointment. More complex consultations for labs such as DUTCH or GI MAP may require additional time.

  • No. Because naturopathic doctors (NDs) are not licensed in the state of Florida, I am unable to bill health insurance plans for my services. All invoicing is performed electronically through Square. Payment is required at time of booking.

  • The term naturopathic doctor and naturopath are often used interchangeably but the training and scope of practice differ significantly.

Naturopathic doctors (NDs) attend a 4 year accredited naturopathic medical school where they are taught both conventional (allopathic) and naturopathic medicine. NDs can complete residencies. Dr. Michelle completed a 2 year post graduate residency with a focus in holistic women’s health and integrative gynecology in one of the most competitive residencies available for this ND specialty.

In the United States, 26 jurisdictions, including the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands have laws regulating naturopathic doctors. NDs must also sit for and pass a board exam (NPLEX) following completion of naturopathic medical school. In states where NDs can prescribe medications, they must also pass a pharmacology exam.

In licensed states, NDs can work as primary care physicians dependent on state regulations and prescribe medications, order labs and imaging, provide annual exams, and perform minor surgeries. In Oregon, Dr. Michelle served as a primary care physician for her patients & provided integrative gynecology services.

Naturopaths do not attend medical school and generally receive a certificate only. A naturopath is not regulated by a state governing body and has more limited training than a naturopathic doctor (ND).

  • I am able to recommend routine blood testing and specialized laboratory testing through a third party service. Patients are also able to self order some labs through Quest, Lab Corp, and Ulta. In these ways, I am able to offer all of the specialty lab testing and basic blood panels that I used previously in my private medical practice.

Labs are offered at a discount through practitioner pricing with third party service. I do not order labs that are processed through or covered by health insurance. All labs are cash pay by the client.

  • MY PRACTICE APPROACH TAKES A COMPLETELY NON-PHARMACEUTICAL APPROACH. I DO NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS.

Natural therapies encompass a broad range of options to treat the health and well-being of an individual without the use of drugs (pharmaceuticals). Examples of natural therapies include botanical and herbal preparations, flower essences, homeopathy, and neutraceuticals.

Neutraceuticals are natural substances isolated from herbal or botanical products and dietary supplements (nutrients). Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, dietary fiber, amino acids, and omega-3 fatty acids are some examples of commonly used neutraceuticals.

  • Unfortunately, I am not licensed in the state of Florida as a ND and must adhere to state regulations. I respectfully request that all clients have a primary care physician of their own to ensure all medical care is received through their primary doctor. I do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe pharmaceuticals in my practice.
